Overview
The silicone cushion is the part of your ResMed AirFit F20 full face mask that covers your nose and mouth and does the sealing. A new one brings back the soft, air-filled feel of the first night, so the mask seals without cranking the straps.
It comes in Small (63467), Medium (63468) and Large (63469), and each order is one cushion. It fits onto the frame you already own, so your headgear and elbow carry over as they are.
Key features:
- InfinitySeal shape: ResMed designed the cushion to move with you through the night and hold its seal at any pressure setting.
- Same part for For Her: The AirFit F20 for Her uses these exact cushion codes, so Small and Medium owners reorder the standard part.
- AirMini ready: ResMed's AirMini mask kit is built on the standard F20, so this is the cushion that kit takes too.
- No natural rubber latex: ResMed's user guide states the F20 is not made with natural rubber latex, PVC or phthalates.
- Same machine setting: Your AirSense or AirCurve stays on the Full Face mask setting, just as it was with the old cushion.
It suits F20 wearers who like their mask and want it to seal like new, or who want to try another size on the frame they have. If you'd rather keep the cushion off your nose bridge, the AirFit F30i sits under it.
Note: This cushion is for the AirFit F20 family only. The AirFit F30, F30i and F40 take different cushions, so check the name on your frame before ordering.
How it works
Taking the old one off
Disconnect the tube, unhook the top strap tabs and press the elbow's side buttons to lift it away. Then hold the frame at the side, between its upper and lower arms, and gently pull the cushion free.
Fitting the new one
Line up the round opening in the cushion with the one in the frame and push the two together until the cushion holds. Thread the top straps back with the logo facing out, then press the elbow on until both sides click.
Daily and weekly care
Each morning, wash the cushion, frame and elbow by hand, using warm water and a little mild soap, brushing the elbow's vent holes as you go. Rinse everything, then dry it on a towel out of strong sunlight. The headgear needs the same wash once a week.

Everything you need to know about the ResMed AirFit F20 Cushion
Keeps the seal soft
A fresh cushion inflates against your face and settles back into place when you roll over, so the F20 can seal at a light strap setting. You replace only the part that touches your skin, and the frame, elbow and headgear you already fitted stay on the mask.
Prevents leaks and red marks
ResMed notes that an ageing cushion can yellow, feel rough or go stiff. A stiff one tempts you to pull the headgear tighter to stop leaks, which brings more discomfort and lines on your face. A new cushion ends that cycle.
Frosted and polished silicone
ResMed gave the cushion two finishes: frosted around the nose for a gentler touch, and polished around the mouth and jaw to stop it riding up. The silicone also changes thickness around the rim, holding its shape where your face needs the most support.

Air-filled seal
The silicone membrane fills with air and rests against your face, so the mask seals without a tight strap.
Soft nose bridge
Frosted silicone over the bridge of your nose feels softer where full face masks tend to leave red marks.
Swaps with AirTouch
The same frame takes this silicone cushion or the AirTouch F20 foam one, so switching never means a new mask.
Any size fits
Every size fits the F20 frame, so moving up or down a size leaves the rest of your mask untouched.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my AirFit F30i or F40?
No. The AirFit F30, F30i and F40 each use a cushion of their own, with separate ResMed part numbers. This one belongs to the F20 family: the AirFit F20, F20 for Her, the non-magnetic F20 and the AirTouch F20 frame.
Which F20 size should I order?
Reorder the size you wear now. Starting fresh? Print ResMed's fitting template, line its arrow up with the bridge of your nose and read off the size where the dip above your chin falls.
How do I clean the F20 cushion?
ResMed asks for a clean after every use. Brush it under the tap, leave it to soak for a few minutes in warm, mildly soapy water, then rinse again and set it somewhere shaded to dry. Keep it out of the dishwasher.
How often does ResMed suggest a new one?
Monthly, on ResMed's replacement schedule. Swap it early if the silicone yellows, roughens, stiffens or shows a crack or tear, since ResMed treats any of those as a reason to replace it.
Is the F20 cushion magnetic?
No. ResMed places the F20's magnets in its frame and its bottom headgear clips, never in the cushion. For anyone worried about magnets and an implant, ResMed makes a non-magnetic F20, and this cushion fits it as well.
