This is the headgear that holds a 30i frame steady while the hose runs over the top of your head. New straps bring back the even, gentle hold that keeps the cushion sealed as you move from your back to your side.
It's ResMed part 63814, made for the N30i, P30i, and AirTouch N30i masks, in one size for both Small and Standard frames. Your frame, cushion, and elbow carry over from the mask you own.
Key features:
- Frame position to taste: The top of the frame can sit further forward or back over your head, so you can settle it where it feels right.
- Room for long hair: ResMed's tip for long hair is to pass it through the gap behind your head, keeping any ponytail high.
- Close the tabs: Fastening the tabs back on themselves after you take the headgear off keeps their hooks from catching the fabric sleeves.
- AirTouch N30i too: The fabric-covered AirTouch N30i uses this same strap, since ResMed builds it on the same frame as the AirFit N30i.
- Nothing to add: The box holds the headgear alone, ready for the frame you have, with no clips, magnets, or adapters to buy.
It suits 30i wearers whose frame slides when they roll over, and households where one person wears pillows and another a cradle, because a single spare fits both. Change only the straps and keep the frame and cushion you already know.
Note: The AirFit N30, without the i, takes a different split-band headgear and won't fit a 30i frame. The F30i and X30i headgear looks similar but carries magnetic clips.
