The DreamWear frame is the soft silicone piece that runs up your cheeks and over your head, carrying air from the hose at the top down to the cushion. A new one lets you keep the cushion, headgear, and elbow you already own, in the size that suits your head.

• Fits every DreamWear cushion: Philips lists this same frame for its nasal, silicone pillows, and full face DreamWear masks, so it takes whichever cushion you use.
• Frame and cushion sized apart: You choose the frame size and cushion size separately, so a new frame in another size still takes the cushion you have now.
• Air runs inside the frame: Air travels through the frame to a hose connection on top of your head, which Philips says lets you sleep in any position.
• Takes either headgear: Original headgear slides through slots in the frame and the newer headgear with arms threads through its loops, so both work on this frame.
